Wine Advocate #145 (Feb 2003) Robert Parker (89-91) points   $18.00

The Coin Cache Les Baux is a single vineyard offering aged in concrete tanks. Potentially more powerful than the 2000, the dense ruby/purple-colored 2001 Coin Cache Les Baux exhibits scents of creme de cassis, kirsch, licorice, tobacco leaf, and spice box. Medium to full-bodied, with great purity as well as ripe fruit, it could turn out to be an outstanding effort. Interestingly, the 2001 summer was hotter than the 2000 for these vineyards in Les Baux, the enchanting village south of Avignon.

This is an outstanding value.
