Made from primarily Grenache, with some Carignan and other local varietals in the blend, the Cuvee Gourmande is aged in large cuves without any exposure to wood. This dark ruby/purple-colored effort possesses a beautiful cherry, spice, pepper, and dried Provencal herb-scented nose. Good black fruits in the mouth, medium body, and pepper add to the spice and richness of this fleshy, straightforward southern French red. It is ideal for drinking over the next several years.
